“Lionbridge Technologies” (www.lionbridge.com) is looking for work from home workers for several different types of projects that require native English Hongkong and Singapore speakers
For example, one project would be recording your voice while reading sentences in your language or listening to speech recordings in your language and transcribing what you hear.
All of these tasks can be completed on your own schedule, usually using your phone/tablet or any computer that has a microphone.
Below are the requirements for this job:
? You must be at least 18 years old and a native speaker of native English Ireland speaker
? You can work from any location, including your home, via a mobile device or a computer
? The work consists of language-related tasks ranging from 15min to 4-5 hours, depending on the task
? All openings are immediate, so you can apply and start working today if you would like

Additional information – ( What happens next once you are registered)
Once you have registered, Lionbridge will contact you with tasks.
In the first task you will see sentences in your language and you will need to record your voice while you read the sentences out loud.
The speech data recorded in this task will be used to train a speech recognition engine. For example, when users use their voice to ask their phones "what is the weather for tomorrow?” a speech recognition engine is being used to understand their question.
The task can be completed at home or in any other quiet place via an Android device (phone/tablet) or via any computer with Google Chrome and a microphone. However, Android devices are strongly preferred over computers.

What you need before you get started:
- An Android device (phone/laptop) with the latest Chrome browser OR a computer with the latest Chrome browser and a microphone/headset. iPhones/iPads will not work for this task
- An internet connection (Wi-Fi is recommended if you use a mobile device), and must always be active while you are completing the task
- About 4 hours of available time. It's also possible to complete the task over the course of several sessions.
