We are currently looking for a sales- and service minded Accountant for our office in Shanghai to support our fast-growing regional business. Responsibilities include:
? Fully in charge of daily financial operations, financial reporting, planning, budgeting and analysis of the China operations.
? Perform month end closing activities according to the closing schedule,
? Check and verify of payment request and preparation of bank payment,
? Raise invoice to client based on contract terms and follow up payments with clients,
? Perform required balance sheets reconciliations at month end. Ensure balance sheet reconciliations are completed and reviewed timely, research and resolve outstanding items timely.
? Monthly accounting and bookkeeping and inter-company AR/AP reconciliation,
? Prepare financial statements accounts reconciliations from China GAAP to IFRS
? Fully in charge of group monthly reporting package submission to head quarter based on IFRS,
? Preparation and submission of VAT.
? Initiate changes in processes and systems to improve controls, efficiency and timeliness.
? Perform ad hoc analysis and reporting as required.

Ideal Candidates will have:
? Be a fully qualified accountant (i.e. CPA/CA/ACCA)
? Five or more years of relevant experience
? Experience in charge of full set of accounts
? Statutory accounting experience and VAT submission experience
? Previous experience as a General Accountant in a multinational corporation
? Attention to detail and good communication skills
? Able to work and meet the tight deadlines and possess strong time management capabilities
? Have a strong business acumen and always look for improvement
? Be fluent in English, in speaking and writing
? Can work independently and be relied upon to meet commitments
? Possesses a mature, friendly, and professional demeanor
