BROAD FUNCTION & OBJECTIVES:



· The purpose of this role is to:-



o Aid in the development of the Sealy brand in China;

o Support our existing retail partners to grow their businesses; and

o To expand our retail network in China;



· The Distribution Manager will act as a business advisor and trusted partner with our retail distributors to grow their businesses in their territories.



· The Distribution Manager is also responsible for the identification of new strong dealer candidates to expand our retail network.




PRIMARY OUTCOMES:



1. Sales Growth – Maximise sales per dealer through the development of existing dealer's businesses.



2. Profit Growth – Achieving AUSP and market share growth in our dealer territories.



3. Distribution – Identifying strong new dealer candidates, and opening new dealer stores in China.



4. Brand – Grow Sealy's brand awareness through strong local promotions, and national dealer campaigns.




SPECIFIC OUTCOMES:



1. Retail Sales –



Expand our dealer network by establishing new dealers.



Grow our dealer's businesses in existing markets through increased sales per store, and the opening of new stores.



2. AUSP and Market Share–


Increase average unit value sales in our stores each year through dealer training, local promotion events and in store display.

3. Distribution Network Development–



Identify high quality new dealer candidates, and open new dealer stores.



Our expectation is around 10 new stores per year.



We would anticipate that this role would require regular travel of up to two weeks per month.



4. Brand Development–


Conduct regular promotional activities with our dealers on a local and national level.



Work with the General Manager to develop national branding campaigns.
