Blue Nile is looking for a passionate and talented Greater China Marketing Manager who will play a key role in helping shape and execute the strategy to grow Blue Nile's business in the Greater China region. The Greater China Marketing Manager is responsible for owning Greater China marketing initiatives, both in terms of driving improvements in our current activities, as well as scoping and developing new growth opportunities spanning both online and offline advertising in the region. The Greater China Marketing Manager will be expected to know about all parts of the Blue Nile business from marketing to customer service to final delivery to the customer, especially as it pertains to the Greater China region. The Greater China Marketing Manager will leverage their broad understanding of Blue Nile's strengths when generating and evaluating new ideas. The position reports to the Director of Marketing.


Responsibilities:

As part of the role, the Greater China Marketing Manager will be expected to report business results directly to senior management. Additionally, the Greater China Marketing Manager will be expected to perform, not manage, the execution in these areas, all with focus on Greater China:
？ Help develop the company’s positioning, messaging and value proposition in Greater China putting together comprehensive marketing strategies tailored to Blue Nile’s needs and strengths.
？ Define Greater China specific marketing strategies and approaches specifically as pertaining to social media, paid social media, marketplaces, KOL marketing and offline wedding shows.
？ Manage a team consisting of the social media specialist, marketplace specialist and events coordinator.
？ Monitor and analyze key marketing metrics (efficiency, contribution, etc.) for quality and performance.
？ Maintain Customer and Market Intelligence
？ Collaborate directly with vendors to develop new marketing strategies and online marketing campaigns
？ Research and identify strategic partnership opportunities
？ Maintain marketing dashboards to track spend, efficiency and customer acquisition
 Qualifications
？ 4+ years online marketing experience required, experience with online retail preferred
？ Previous work for international companies strongly preferred.
？ Demonstrated experience in managing a marketing budget for a business unit or division
？ Ability to effectively influence stakeholders
？ High motivation and entrepreneurial work ethic
？ Ability to remain flexible in a continuously evolving and changing environment
？ Demonstrated track record of creative and structured approach to problem-solving
？ Native Chinese with fluency to speak and read English a must
？ 1 – 2+ years of experience managing China specific social media platforms and marketplaces
？ Comfort working in startup-like environment, flexibility, willingness to cooperate with counterparts in the US office
