Summary:
The Training Engineer is responsible for developing and providing product training courses to users of MathWorks products in China.
The location is based in Shanghai.
Role & Responsibilities:
The Training Engineer is responsible for developing and providing product training courses to users of MathWorks products. Specific activities include researching industry and application specific concepts, delivering courses on multiple products, providing appropriate feedback to our development and sales organizations, and identifying and implementing course improvements based on student evaluations.
Minimum qualifications:
A bachelor's degree and 7 years of professional work experience (or a master's degree and 5 years of professional work experience, or a PhD degree) is required.
Additional qualifications:
* MS in Engineering of signal processing or equivalent major
* Strong verbal and written communications skills in both English and Chinese
* Proficiency in delivering stand-up training for highly technical audiences
* Familiar with MATLAB and Simulink based modeling/simulation
* Experience with signal processing, image processing, video processing, computer vision etc.
* Familiar with VHDL or Verilog-HDL, simulations, synthesis, FPGA
* Demonstrated ability to perform computational analysis, modeling and simulation tasks
Plusses:
* Professional experience of teaching is a big plus
* Knowledge of use of MathWorks Tools for generating code is a big plus
