With more than 90 professionals in our Shanghai head office and Beijing and Hong Kong branch offices, we are one of China’s premier PRC commercial legal practices, providing comprehensive legal services, for both contentious and non-contentious matters, with particular expertise in international business transactions, securities and capital markets, mergers and acquisitions, investments and corporate legal services.



Responsibilities:

• Draft, review, and comment on various legal documents in connection with the organization’s legal services to its clients.
• Attend legal negotiations on behalf of the clients.
• Conduct legal due diligence exercises and investigations as instructed by the clients.
• Supervise the work and work product of the junior associates and paralegals in the team.
• Report to senior associates and leaders on work-related matters.
  
  

Requirements:

• PQE: 2+.
• At least two (2) year of international transactional experience at international law organizations or top-level Chinese law organizations.
• Graduates of top ten Chinese universities or law schools; undergraduate school is more important; and PRC bar qualification required.
• Foreign education and bar licensing a plus, but not a must.
• Experience representing international clients in cross-border corporate and structuring matters, foreign direct investment, commercial contracts, venture capital/private equity, and IP licensing.
• Good written and spoken English required; and high English proficiency a must; and High English proficiency a must.
• Excellent communication skills and self-motivated team player.
• Can Travel
