Job Title: VM Manager (视觉陈列经理)

Our client is a leading fashion retailer in China.

Location: Shanghai

Responsibilities:

1. Create, manage and maintain display principles, guidelines and standards which support and deliver the product and brand vision

2. Ensure that a consistent approach to visual communication is produced across the divisions and the studio portfolio

3. Develop and maintain working relationships with the buying teams in order to effectively develop and support their Buying strategies

4. Prepare store layouts, communications, seasonal and promotional launch information in liaison with all streams of the business

5. Suggest new ideas, promote and develop merchandising techniques through equipment or display

6. Develop and publish product knowledge data and trend information to stores on a seasonal basis in order to drive selling and customer services. Specifically focus on those items that are the key volume drivers. Identify and capitalize on synergies between product categories

7. Monitor visual standards and execution in stores. Create company standards manual, routinely review and update content as needed.

8. Develop the VM training system and deliver the training to the store operation team

9. Provide VM inputs for Store Concept improvement & development including window line, layout, fixture, mannequins, lighting and etc.

Qualifications:

1. Minimum 5 years direct experience at management level in visual merchandising (lady garment), with visual merchandising in a retail chain store environment.

2. A strong understanding of the retail industry and the ability to seek and understand trends

3. Proven ability to develop, coach and manage performance of others.

4. Good English verbal and written skills.

5. Ability to work effectively, independently as well as in a team environment

6. Excellent attention to detail, follow-up and organizational skills.

7. Travel as requested is required.
