Package Engineer (产品包装工程师):


Primary Responsibilities:

2 Reviews and approves all final printed packaging artwork for vendors’ proprietary
brand packaging, ultimately responsible for quality of end result.
3. Assists with ensuring that all proprietary packaging meets objectives, quality and
standards.
4. Assists with vendor developed product photography, line art, etc. for packaging.
5. Provides clear creative direction for vendors to execute packaging design changes.
6. Must understand how to evaluate brand packaging design adherence.
7. Must have up to date knowledge of general packaging requirements
8. Interfaces with , internal Packaging Department and vendor partners to ensure that
all proprietary packaging meets objectives, quality and standards; must have
excellent communication skills.
9. Works as a liaison between endors, Packaging Department on all proprietary brand
projects to communicate and resolve packaging design issues and to route packaging
proofs for final approval.


Necessary Skills:

1. Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, advertising or fine art recommended.
2. 5 years experience in art direction, graphic/packaging design or advertising.
3. Strong creative conceptual skills.
4. Strong oral and written communication skills fluent in English.
5. Must have a strong understanding of packaging design and printing processes and can
help resolve printing issues.
7. Proficient in the use of personal computers including Microsoft Office software.
8. Basic understanding of retail business and import sourcing terminology.
9. Strong organizational skills.
