Client: European retailer with buying office in shanghai

Footwear Merchandiser Manager/Merchandiser(鞋子采购经理／采购员)
Responsibilities:
Price negotiations with suppliers
On-time initial sample approvals.
Development of new product capabilities with suppliers as required by the business.
Source new raw material as needed by business units.
Participate in specific R&D projects.
Participate in new product and trend development activities
Work with Sourcing Manager in suppliers management.
Supplier relationship management with existing suppliers.
Ongoing sourcing for new factories, trims and raw materials.
Requirements:
Minimum 8 years experience in Sourcing, Product Development, Procurement and Supply Chain Management preferably from Footwear industries in China and Asia (at least 3 years in management role if apply for merchandiser manager position)
Must have experience developing and improving operation processes
Excellent communications skills

Footwear Development Technician(鞋子技术员)
Responsibilities:
Ensure Product meets design aesthetics and fit requirements.
Fitting of marker sample to assess new last requirements
Develop new lasts that fit to standard and are aesthetically/proportionally correct.
Develop new outsoles from 2D design and mould blueprint stage through to final fitting and confirmation.
Ensure patterns are correct and aesthetically appropriate for the product type.
Ensure upper and whole shoe construction meets the specified quality and performance criteria.
Ensure all samples are fit for purpose and critical timelines are met.
Creation of In House Outsole and Last Library.
Evaluate all Tooling costs and maintain records of supplier cost data.
Develop and maintain good supplier relations.
Requirements:
College Degree or above with at least 3-4 years working experience (in a Leading Factory or Foreign Representative Buying office), experience in sports or casual footwear development experience a definite advantage
Good in spoken and written English Communication
CAD Software literacy would be beneficial.
Frequent travel is required

Leather Specialist, Footwear(皮革专员-鞋子)
Responsibilities:
This role is responsible for sourcing and negotiating price of leather for the footwear business along with training and developing factories in the correct treatment process.
Guide the business on new trends on look and finish of leather Consolidate business requirements and negotiate price based on a single source
Ensure the BU is getting the right quality leather to produce goods to meet brand requirements
Training & Factories area(Leather classing,Leather finishing,Grading of skins)
Requirements:
Minimum 8 years relevant experience in Footwear industries in China and Asia
Experience in tannery and skin grading
Knowledge of chemical applicationFluent English skills in both oral and written
