We are seeking several highly motivated scientists to join our Biologics research group in Shanghai China. Interested candidates will have extended knowledge and experience in the generation, engineering, or characterization/bioactivity validation of therapeutic antibodies and proteins. Candidates should have a good understanding of thebiological function and principles of therapeutic antibody, and capability of leading a group of scientists to implement projects to completion.

Responsibilities include one or more of these areas:

1. Conduct the validation of antibody activity to cellular biological functions.
2. Co-ordinate with colleagues to streamline the process of development of therapeutic leads.
3. Identify and evaluate relevant bio-assays suitable for efficient validation of antibody activity.
4. Actively contribute to scientific activities related to the discovery and design of therapeutic antibodies.
5. Summarize and report the progress and results of studies in time-efficient manner.

Requirements include one or more of these areas:

1. This role requires a Ph.D. or M.S . in molecular biology, immunology or/and oncology with 5-10 year working experience in biotherapeutics, previous experience in biotechnology industry is preferred.
2. Solid knowledge and experience in the characterization and validation of therapeutic agents in biological function assays with a variety of cell types involved in cancer, immunological, infectious disorders.
3. Hands-on experiences in the performance of ELISA, FACS, Western-blot, bioassays, IHC.
4. Knowledge in antibody generation, screening, and optimization techniques.
5. Management skills in leading a group to implement projects in a dynamic environment.
