Job Description
IP Multimedia Subsystem (IMS) is an IP communication standard specified by 3GPP. IMS is generally acknowledged to be the common denominator in fulfilling the future requirements of a rapidly changing communications landscape.

The FDC Converged Core organization in Shanghai is looking for skilled engineers that are interested in working with product BCS, PGM and SBG as system engineer.

As a system engineer, your main responsibilities are:
- Perform system study on new features, provide high level solution as well as cost estimation
- Provide guideline on how functions will be implemented and ensure developed solution is according to defined system architecture.
- Support product management to clarify the solution and participate standardization activities (3GPP)
- Act as contact interface regard system issues.
- Provide market support in both e-mail and customer meeting.

Qualifications
- University Bachelor or Master Degree in any of the following majors: Computer Science, Telecommunication, Electronic Engineering
- Excellent English communication skills (both in written and verbal)
- Excellent understanding of software architecture
- Solid experience on Erlang is preferred for SBG product area.
- Experienced in H.248, SIP and Diameter
- Strong team work spirit
- Familiarity with IMS services: Multi-media telephony, Presence, Push-to-Talk, IMS Messaging, Combining IMS and CS voice is an advantage.
- Ability to learn new technology quickly
