JOB REQUIREMENT
1.Above College Diploma in any material/ engineering/printing subject.
2.At least 3 years on garment or garment accessories development and 5 years inspection experience on relate fields
3.Can read the technical drawing and can use the relate tools to checking the dimension and function
4.Familiar with relate product’s production processes- metal stamping, plating, paper printing, mold cutting, woven label, leather badge or whole garment producing process.
5.Previous employment in sizable EU buying office, third party or trading firm for EEC retail market is a definite asset.
6.Excellent communication skill with supplier and head office; Good problem solving skill with suppliers;
7.Excellent command of written and spoken in English, prefer to be good at Cantonese;
8.Good computer knowledge in Microsoft software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).


JOB PURPOSE
1.Join development and provide technical support on material & process;
2.Create quality document and criteria based on development with client, so that we have standard to follow, not only for you, but also for our other QCs
3.Conduct in line or final inspection to ensure product quality can meet different client requirements.
4.Once claim happened, need help to find the root cause and advise on the Corrective Action Plan, meanwhile, follow the CAP to verify the problem has been resolved.
5.Guide the supplier on external client’s and internal company’s quality standard and keep them improving towards such high quality level.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1.40% QA responsibility
2.Join in the development with sourcing team in HK or SHA(factory visit, sample checking, sample improvement, etc.), give support on material and process, to create the quality agreement with client at the beginning;
3.Lab testing requirements (safety, basic performance & durability) advised to sourcing team and supplier at the beginning to avoid claim.
4.Chemical Restriction following with periodically factory visit and audit;
5.Set up the product specification or inspection criteria based on development findings and approved sample;
6.Quality document transfer to QC team / make sure QC team understand what should be checked;
7.Assist head office buying team to fulfill the new tasks for improving supply base.
8.Give advice to supplier on how to deal with the defects or avoid potential problems.
9.Always check and clarify with sourcing team and client on any unclear issue.
10.60% QC responsibility
11.Conduct in line and final inspection for new items/ new suppliers;
12.Monitor the supplier inspection process whether their workers are doing as the same standard as ours
13.Conduct inspection against the approved sample and Quality documents
14.Advise and monitor the improvement from supplier on the findings during inspection.
15.Prepare the inspection report and get supplier agreement on your findings.
16.Take inspection photos for further traceability
17.Send back inspection report within timeline.
