This position will be part of the Knowledge team based in Shanghai / Hong Kong but supporting our professionals nationally and in both PRC and Hong Kong. The Knowledge team is responsible for ensuring that our staff have the information and knowledge they need to deliver to our clients and make best use of the online provisions and collaboration tools available.
Responsibilities
Work closely with all business functions on the development of bespoke knowledge management solutions using Microsoft SharePoint 2013-2016 and related technologies. This role will involve supporting our client facing teams to develop collaboration solutions to deliver Audit, Tax and Advisory services. It will also involve supporting internal teams (HR, L&D, Operations) with their portal and collaboration requirements. We are looking for a tech savvy professional to help us get the best out of Microsoft Sharepoint using ‘off the shelf’ functionality but there will also be a significant amount of ‘bespoke customization’ to meet the needs where additional advanced technical and programming skills are required.
Experience
- University degree holder or equivalent in an IT related field
- 6+ years’ experience in a large firm in a technical / IT role
- Proven background in website and application developments particularly with corporate internal portals and extranets
- Advanced technical skills in the following:
1. SharePoint development (Expert)
2. SharePoint Designer (Expert)
3. Workflow development (use of Nintex and / or Sharepoint Designer)
4. Web Programming (HTML / Jquery / Javascript / CSS / HTML 5 / .ASP)
5. Infopath (desirable)
6. Graphic Design/Photoshop experience (desirable)
- Able to devise content management strategies and processes for large datasets
- Excellent skills required working collaboratively with stakeholders in documenting end-user and business requirements
- Branding and designing of SharePoint site in SharePoint Designer and Visual Studio (Master pages, page layouts, web part, page design)
- Ability to meet challenging milestones within time, cost and quality constraints
- Ability to work efficiently and deliver pragmatic and high-quality outcomes
- Work well on a team with the ability to deliver projects and work within integrated, multidisciplinary project teams
- Good analytical skill and problem solving is essential: Must be able to quickly provide suggestions and options during business requirement discussions
- Experience or involvement in rolling out tools to large audiences is advantageous
- Excellent command of English language. Knowledge of Chinese is advantageous
- Highly organised individual with good project management skills
