PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
? Communicate highly technical information to both technical and non-technical personnel. Provide outstanding customer service and world class support in a large, fast paced, highly pressurized, corporate environment.
? Serve as front line interface to users. Provide on-site support of client hardware including PC, Desktop & SmartPhones, & software including OS, MS Office, VPN, Anti-Virus and other applications
? With minimal supervision, troubleshoot, trace, and repair connectivity problems from the jack to the Patch/PBX panels in both LAN/WAN and Telecom environments
? Working knowledge of call tracking systems and ability to log/update/close tickets, prioritize issues and balance workloads bringing customer problems to full resolution. Will work within the corporate asset management systems.
? Working knowledge of networking (wired and wireless), protocols (TCP/IP and sub netting), VPN, and basic networking troubleshooting skills. Working knowledge of Voice/Telecom systems (experience with Nortel/NEC/CISCO VOIP), Voice Messaging system and deploy new phone and voice mail extensions, with support required as needed.
? Effectively support (install, troubleshoot, configure and repair) a variety of internal and third party applications for client workstations, Mobile Devices, Smartphones, Printers and Servers in both the Desktop and Corporate IT environments.
? Serve as a front line interface to users. Possess full understanding of installing, troubleshooting, configuring, and repairing Windows Client/Server devices. Operating Systems in both Desktop and Corporate IT Server and Infrastructure Environment
SKILLS
? Knowledge of Windows, Linux, IOS, Android, Networking, Internet Security, ERP Systems, SaaS offerings, and proficient in Microsoft Office applications
? Knowledge with appropriate networks, products and protocols.
? Ability to work effectively with senior management.
? Troubleshooting skills.
? Strong sense of urgency with the ability to work in a high-pressure environment.
? Customer Service skills including ability to interface with highly-technical customers
Education Required: Associates Degree, Bachelors (technical) preferred
Experience Required: 2+ Years
