Assessment Specialist to help strengthen New Pathway's data management and education analytics.
Job Descripion:
1. Customer Service: Speak over the phone with parents who speak either language and do so in a courteous and professional manner. At least initially, about 30% of the job will require parental outreach.
2. Survey Design: Design some surveys, such as Feedback form for parents and students. Preferably 2-3 years of professional experience.
3. Education Research: Responsible for statistics and data analysis.
Qualification:
1. Fluent in English and Chinese.
2. Ability to use Access and Excel is expected to create and manage an increasingly complex data base.
3. Have a solid quantitative background, particularly with statistics.
4. Familiarity with STATA, SAS, SPSS or other statistical software packages, as well as experience with SQL, is desired.
5. Advanced data analysis tools such as HLM or data-mining would be a plus as would professional experience in psychometrics and test-design.
