Job Summary
This position requires a person to be in charge of import and export shipping coordination. Shipping coordinator is responsible for contacting supplier or customer overseas or domestic, freight forwarders and relevant departments for smooth operation of shipping process and timely delivery under guidance of Shipping Supervisor.

Responsibilities
1. Follow up releases/orders from sales office, and provide daily basis feedback
2. Follow up the daily production status to verify the plans/schedules are carried out timely.
3.Organize overseas shipments and prepare necessary documents, coordinate with carriers/forwarders to ensure shipment deliver on time
4. Manage special packaging/labelling/shipping requirement from customers.
5. maintain good communication with suppliers or customers overseas or domestic in shipping process
6.Check and approve import shipping documents to guarantee receiving the standard and acceptable papers for clearance; pass correct documents and register with right receiving persons
7.Support and follow up custom clearance process
8.Create qualified export shipping documents and finalize them with consignee’s confirmation
9. Send shipping alert and keep on the way track after delivery
10. Handle claims for compensation with insurance company in case of cargo damage during transportation
11. Maintain complete import and export or domestic shipping document filing system in a professional and logical way
12.Develop competitive international transportation suppliers
13.Provide accurate logistics cost predition to sales
14.Have the capacity and experence to deal with the emergencies in the work.

The Person:
Experience/ Education
Education background in foreign trade, business administration, transportation is acceptable. Bachelor's Degree. At least five year experience in shipping operation.

Skills
Good skills in Microsoft Words, Excel. Strong communication & interpersonal skills. Strong sense of responsibility, Good command of English. Capability to create shipping documents Prefer familiar with ERP system, At least one year experience in shipping, planning ETC… 举报 分享
