DEPARTMENT: SUPPLY-CHAIN /SHANGHAI OFFICE
MANAGER: GENERAL MANAGER
JOB DESCRIPTION:
As Sr. Merchandiser Garments and under the management of the General Manager of Shanghai Office, you daily work with French Headquarter. Throughout the daily operational workflow, you combine all the key skills required for a large scale import.
MAIN MISSIONS:
QUOTATION & ORDER COLLECTION
o Collect Order from Product manager
o Contact with suppliers
o Key Information in the system (product specs, packaging, price, quantity, etc.)
ORDER CONFIRMATION
o Document control (Invoices, Test reports, Shipping docs, etc.)
o Check & Confirm the Order.
o Confirm with suppliers the marking (hangtag, sewing label, etc.)
o Organize all the payment opening with the help of French headquarter.
PRODUCTION MONITORING & DOCUMENT COLLECTION
o Daily communication with French headquarter (Buyers, Quality dpt., Designers, etc.)
o Perform an accurate follow-up to monitor the production and respect the delay.
o Lead quality assurance activities with suppliers and contacts laboratories and 3rd parties.
o Collect & control quality documents and insure quality standards for the French market.
SHIPMENT
o Coordinate the shipment booking schedule between the supplier and the forwarder
o Coordinate the final inspection with suppliers and QC
o Arrange the final payment with France headquarter after loading confirmation
o Collect the Shipping documents to allow the goods reception in France.
PROFILE:
WE ARE LOOKING FOR PEOPLE WHO ARE DYNAMIC, FLEXIBLE AND GOOD TEAM PLAYER
o Diploma/Degree holder
o Min 5 years experenice, preferred with buying experience in garments (retailer)
o Ever stayed with global sourcing office, brand buying office, buying agent or trader
o Good command in spoken and written English
o Good negotiation skills
o Detail oriented, well-organized and good team player
o PC knowledge in MS Office
