职位描述

PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
Establish, implement, and update HR processes that will contribute to the development of business and people and contribute to IKEA as the leading home furnishings company in the local market.
Contribute to having the right competence at the right place at the right time.
Be a contributing resource as trainer/facilitator within the leadership & competence development process as well as other HR processes.

ASSIGNMENTS:
- Be a HR partner to managers in implementing and carrying out co-worker related activities and processes (i.e. recruitment, introduction process, competence review process, Voice process, salary review/retention process, etc.) in order to achieve assigned Business & People goals.
- Coach, advise, update and train managers/co-workers in all HR related policies, procedures and programs.
- Support co-workers in questions related to employment and development within IKEA
- Ensure that country specific and labour related laws are followed.
- Prepare and maintain required reporting including HR KPI's
- Lead HR initiatives to attract, retain and motivate coworkers.
- Create an environment where the ikea culture is a living reality that embraces the diversity of coworkers and the market.
-Act as coordinator for 2-3 regional HR function areas, such as employer branding, recruitment tools, compensation & benefits, organization development, etc. In this role, support DSAP HR Manager to drive regional initiatives together with local HRMs and other HR BPs.
-Take responsibility for /participate in projects and other tasks within the HR field as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE:
-University degree (Social, Pedagogic, HR, Economic or related ) or equivalent in working experience
- 4 years experience within the HR field (or 4 years IKEA management experience.)
- Excellent knowledge in local labor law.
- Fluency in English and Chinese
- Interest in home furnishings.
- Mobile (for future succession) is an advantage.

 With the movement of the head office from Singapore to Shanghai in July of 2007, Distribution Services Asia Pacific (DSAP) have undergone a rapid expansion, growing from 70 co-workers to over 500 staffs nowadays. Today DSAP supports 28 stores in Asia Pacific with 4 Distribution Centers.

Business achievement
FY08 we have seen great results and achievements in many areas in DSAP. Our handling costs per m3 improved again and ended well below target, in transport we managed to slow down some cost increase despite the very unfavorable fuel/oil cost development and direct deliveries/total lead time has had some long awaited break troughs.

We as organization also continue to grow and recently we opened a new high flow DC Yatomi in Japan. Soon our new high flow DC moorebank in Australia will be open. Shortly it’s followed by the opening of the low flow DC Fengxian in China and the full implementation of new goods flow strategy. Also in the areas of IWAY, quality and customer availability we have better results than last year.
