Summary
China IT Manager is a full time position and is based at the Westinghouse Shanghai office. This position provides the necessary technical and people skills to manage the day-to-day Information Technology (IT) support of Westinghouse China AP1000 Project, China Sub Region (CR&S) business operations, Westinghouse China (Shanghai), Asia Regional staff located in China and limited support for Joint Ventures (JVs). The manager also interfaces with IT personnel in other Asia region Westinghouse offices in Japan, South Korea, India, Taiwan and Vietnam. This position is critical to provide IT support required for successful growth of Westinghouse in China.

? Business Support
Work with key customers such as project leaders, Business Unit leaders etc. to determine the best IT strategies to support the business needs in China.
Collaborate with key customers and Corporate IT to secure resources and ensure the smooth execution of IT projects in support of business needs in China.
Optimize IT Architecture and operation to support cost savings.

? Technology Strategy/Standards Development
Drive ongoing evaluation and improvement of existing IT systems, infrastructure and network.
Maintain in-depth up-to-date knowledge of standards, guidelines, industry trends, etc., across multiple infrastructure specialties
Develop and maintain a cross-functional perspective to manage and integrate IT processes such as infrastructure development, system management and enterprise system/data solution management
Provide input and feedback to Corporate IT on technology initiatives and the deployment of initiatives.

? Technology Standards Implementation/Risk Management
Supervise IT Outsourced team and suppliers to maintain optimum level of desk site support, platforms/systems and provide quality IT services to offices, manufacturing facilities, and joint ventures to ensure the smooth running of the business.
Deploy IT systems, provide consulting and training on IT system application to users.
Build and manage the information and data platform for smooth operation.
Ensure all information and data are properly protected and meet Westinghouse Security requirements.
Review Information Technology business cases and initiatives to identify, assess, and communicate infrastructure costs and issues. Prepare, communicate and ensure IT business plan aligns with China business needs with cost savings to align with entire enterprise cost optimization initiative.
Set up processes to ensure return on investment and minimize risks related to information technology decisions.
Select, or participate in the selection of, vendors who provide a variety of IT services and products to ensure the qualified service to meet Westinghouse business needs.

Build a strong IT team with rich expertise to support business
Partner with key functional groups in China and with IT colleagues in the Asia region and US Corporate office
Team player (problem solving and planning with corporate IT and other teams)Team management skill especially in managing 3rd party suppliers

Assist in development of cost center budget and capital investment plan
Manage expenses to meet budgets

Requirements
? Education and Skills:
？ Bachelor degree and above in Computer Science or relevant major
？ Over 9 years of relevant experience; management with leading a sizable team is preferred
