职位描述：
R &D Chemist / Technician

Job Scope:
Support for the growth of the PSR business in Asia Pacific, with focus on phenolic Novolac and Resole product.
Provide R&D support to PSR commercial team for phenolic product.
Apply global R&D work processes and testing.

Responsibilities:
The type of support provided will include:
Chemical synthesis work in lab and recipe modification according to plant requirement/China customer requirement
Set up phenolic testing method in China.
Qualify new raw material based on product transfer or new product development.
Support introduction of processes in plant between technology team and plant manufacture team.
Working closely with R&D, Commercial, Supply Chain and manufacturing team to deal with the related issues;
Maintaining high levels of safety standards and house keeping in the laboratory.
As a result of having broad and deep understanding of thermosetting technology, phenolic resin experience is preferred.
For technical objectives which can not be met with local capabilities, liaises with R&D colleagues in Louisville and Letmathe to coordinate efforts.
Carries out activities living up to EH&S standards.

Requirements:
Master or higher degree in a chemistry-based disciplined.
Relevant industry experience is preferred.
Significant experience in Thermosetting applications or phenolic resin industry.
Significant experience in chemical synthesis with different products.
Fluent in Mandarin, Competent in English (spoken and written) 举报 分享
