Reporting to the Director of Transnational Student Operations, the Bilingual University Partner Manager supports the Integrated Field Degree (IFD) program that offers hybrid master’s degree programs that combine the traditional, immersive U.S. university residential experience with technology-enabled, in-country, live-lecture learning.
The University Partner Manager is a bilingual (Mandarin Chinese and English) education management professional that is responsible for liaising with the local partner university and managing local program coordinators to ensure student success.
Responsibilities:
- Establish and manage professional relationships with local university and corporate partners
- Work with local program coordinators to monitor student activity
- Negotiate and manage local vendor agreements
- Support program coordinators and university partner in providing necessary student support
- Attend local conferences and networking events to represent and market the program
- Establish, track, and report on key performance indicators
- Provide feedback to optimize student experience
? Hire and train local team as necessary - Perform other job-related duties as assigned by management
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field
- 10+ years of full-time work experience in a related field; experience in education management preferred
- Native proficiency in Mandarin Chinese and professional proficiency in English required
- Energetic and motivated professional with strong organizational and interpersonal skills
- Experience working in a cross-cultural professional environment preferred
- Familiarity using a CRM system such as Salesforce.com preferred
- Experience delivering professional presentations preferred
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Excitement to work in a fast-growing, entrepreneurial environment
- Eligibility to work in Shanghai without sponsorship
