职位描述
BASIC FUNCTIONS
1.Response for assigned product line healthy operation, provide on time technical support to production.
2.Timely response and solve problem for production and customer issues related products design and production.
3.Continuously improvement production safety; productivity; Quality and cost performance.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
1.Support production daily operation complete quality products on time.
2.Disposition production issues on time. Coordinate Engineering support request to related people.
3.Support product and process engineer designs, develops, and researches new processes or improvements to existing processes, tooling, and equipment. Provides to manager a detailed analysis of capacity, alternatives considered, financial analysis, and detailed.
4.Applies engineering techniques to determine the best design to minimize labor, material, and overhead costs. Works with product engineers and designers to review form, fit and function of product design to assure manufacturability. Prepare and update WI to best fit process need.
5.Ensures that all new and/or existing processes comply with corporate policy in the areas of health, safety and environmental assurance.
6.Build product BOM and run valid to ensure correct data into system
7.Utilizes statistical techniques, tolerance analysis, process potential studies, capability analysis, and other engineering techniques to assure new tooling and equipment meet specifications before quality acceptance. Develops corrective action plans to bring non-conforming processes or tooling into compliance.
8. As a team member with Plant Operations and Production, troubleshoots operational issues on a daily basis. Spends significant time on shop floor. Climbs above floor level and around or over equipment, walks on screen guards, and works in other awkward areas of manufacturing environment
9.Works with Quality Assurance to insure that all quality aspects of product design and manufacturing are met, by applying statistical techniques and manufacturing engineering principles
10.Assures that all required International Standards Organization (ISO) and Haworth Quality System documentation (Process and Method Instructions) is in place and current
11.Maintains up-to-date, state-of-the-art knowledge in the area of manufacturing engineering methods and processes. Shares this information with other members via training and/or day-to-day contact
12.Validate and keep system data correct. with labor standards, and routings for all manufacturing processes. Enters process information (methods, standards, and routings) into the Advanced Manufacturing Accounting Production System (AMAPS) data base. Conducts regular audits of the standards to assure accuracy
13.Reviews equipment and/or processes electrical designs to assure compliance to specifications and proper use of Haworth standardized components
14.Uses knowledge of control systems to recommend and implement changes to process logic
RELATIONSHIPS
Internal Customers - Actively interact with internal customers such as Product Development Team, Sales, Purchasing, Logistics, Engineering group through cross-functional team, focus group, meeting, etc.
External Contacts - contact with suppliers, agencies or others for work execution.
COMPETANCES (Knowledge, Skills, Attitude)
Knowledge of Auto CAD preferred has skill on Pro/Engineer, Solid Works.
Bachelor degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent with good analytical skills and sense of judgment.
1+ years working experience in the same or similar field, Average English speaking, writing and reading.
Good communication, coordination, interpersonal skills.
Initiative, be able to work independently and good at details.
Good track of problem solving skills.
