Manager Finance Manager
Job Purpose
Primarily responsible for supporting CR Shanghai finance function. Provide accurate reporting and analysis mainly for account receivables. Advise the business managers in job billing and collection
Tasks and Responsibilities
Project management
- Create and update project information in system timely and accurately
- Run weekly WIP reports and provide to operation teams for billing purpose
- Check and make income accruals according to the WIP reports and projects milestones.
- Update the project status according to the project progress
AR management
- Check and raise draft / final invoices in system
- Raise VAT special invoices for China projects
- Coordinate with operation team and business departs to collect the account receivable on time.
- Check and assess the risks for account receivable, highlight to management team and take precautions to avoid loss.
Reports
- Prepare weekly control books for billing /forecast/ DSO /TDO
- Prepare AR aging and calculate DSO, investigate account variances and reconcile monthly account receivables
- Prepare income accrual listing and calculate TDO, chase final billing for outstanding accruals
Month end closing
- Book entries and reconcile general ledger and subsidiary accounts, prepare monthly AR statements
- Assist in preparation of month end balance sheet reconciliations
- Assist in preparing monthly financial reports and information
Others
- Take part of preparation of audit for both internal and external auditors
Knowledge and Experience
Essential
- Degree in Finance or Accounting or equivalent work experience
- Knowledge of IFRS
- At least two years relevant working experience
- Strong computer skills in spreadsheets and job cost accounting systems
Preferred
- Strong AR management skills
- Strong communication skills
