Job description: Electrophysiologist, M.S. level or above.

Responsibility included but not limited to:

1. Maintain and prepare cell culture (optional)

2. Able to perform electrophysiological recordings in cell lines and in acute brain slices using conventional and DIC-IR visual patch-clamp recordings

3. Generate high quality data in a timely fashion; Analyze data and write reports or slide presentations (in English) according to company guidelines and client’s requests and deadlines for experiments; Communicate with the client as needed and participate in teleconference meetings with the clients.

4. Possible tasks of preparing cell culture, maintaining cell lines, native neuron isolation, primary neuron culture.

5. General lab maintenance and other assigned work based on company needs.

6. Having small group leadership experience is also an asset.

Requirements:

1. M.S. or above degree in the related fields. For M.S. candidate, working experience is a plus.

2. Working experience in electrophysiology, including brain slice and whole cell patch clamp.

3. Experience in brain slice preparation and recording, synaptic current measurement and mini analysis preferred.

4. Be able to work overtime or on weekends as needed by the workload.

5. Detail-oriented, organized and ability to manage time well.

主要工作责任：

1. 有细胞培养的经验。

 2.按照公司实验标准步骤使用手动和自动膜片钳系统进行电生理测试。涉及脑片或全细胞电生理的实验。

3. 按照公司的规则和客户实验项目的要求及时提供高质量的测试结果；及时分析数据并写出实验报告或供讨论用的PPT幻灯片; 在项目进行的过程中和客户进行主动及时的交流并参加和客户的电话会议。

4. 可能参与细胞培养，细胞系的维持，原代神经细胞的分离与培养

5. 实验室的一般运行维护工作。其它根据公司要求所需要的工作。

要求：

1. 硕士及以上学位，相关专业毕业。硕士学位有工作经验者更佳。

2. 有电生理实验经验者，包括脑片和全细胞膜片钳电生理记录经验者。

3. 有脑片电生理记录，突触电位记录及结果分析经验者优先。

4. 能够按照工作的要求灵活调整工作时间或延长工作时间。

5. 注重细节, 有较强的组织条理和时间观念。
