Job description:
-Phone answer – Welcoming, logging verbal service request time and details. Respond and provide technical support/remote service on line or dispatch appropriate technical person
-Monitor nLIGHT Customer service request mail account; log request time and details, such as the machine installation/failure from customer, new laser test or transform from internal planner and sales and other request from internal engineering.
Respond and dispatch appropriate technical person.
-Service report and spare parts validation, recording, archiving.
-Assist nLIGHT logistics with fiber lasers and spare parts status confirmations as needed to maintain the inventory accuracy.
-Service Management tool FS360: update and operate and maintain systems database with service work orders in FS360.
-Service quotes: Assist Customer service manager with service quotes and other paper work. Using Customer support price list. Chase service maintenance contracts
-Dealing with general procedures: warranty spare part application, dealing with RMA system process return from customer
-Taking care of all service related documents: service and parts quotation/contracts, installation card, service report, RMA process file, Install Caution file and various season files notice to customer.
-Inter RMA application of failed parts and fiber lasers to nLight VC, and request the replacements/repaired from VC
-Support Service team Travel request form and allowance report to HR, management the best way of travel for service guys, and make sure the reports are done following company rules
-Archiving/Accounting of personnel presence, service schedule and management of vacation, days off for service team
Qualification:
Education Background:
- College or higher.
Training: None
Working Experience:
- Prior experience in Capital Equipment, Lasers or Electro-Optics is advantageous.
Skill:
-Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English
-Good interpersonal and customer relationship skills
-Competent with Microsoft Office suite of tools (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
-Confident and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
Attitude:
-Able to working independently and under pressure
-Be open-minded, self-motivated and quick learner
-Good team player
