JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Title: Senior Process Engineer
Reports to: Senior Manager, Continuous Improvement/ Best Business Practice Metrics
Location: Shanghai, China
Subordinate(s): N/A

Job Purpose:
Combined the BBP Director & JIT Director Expat roles, increase the local team headcount in BBP to maintain the resource level but further develop our local talent.

Responsibilities:
  1. Drive & further develop BBP process across all JV's in China and focus on data integrity for China plants.
  2. Review and analyze BBP data from finance regularly and create reports to leadership team, JV leadership team and global team with data deep dive.
  3. Identify gaps and work with the plant to develop gap closure plans and execute improvement strategies.
  4. Using standard tracking and reporting systems, prepare detailed plans, drive project performance, and assure timely completion and achievement of product / process quality, and savings goals.
  5. Collaborate with JV CI team to review & monitor C.I. Roadmaps, driving breakthrough or Best-in-Class performance. Assists Process Owners in identifying barriers to project success and helps to drive changes when needed.
  6. Support on organize regional Product Line workshops to communicate Global BBP examples and drive development of waterfall charts to achieve gap closure.


Requirements:
  1. Bachelor degree or above, major in Finance or Engineering.
  2. 4-6 years working experience in manufacturing, experience in automotive industry is preferred.
  3. Possesses basic financial knowledge and good presentation skills.
  4. Possesses basic computer skills, experience with spreadsheet applications is preferred.
  5. Highly motivated and self-confident, has shown initiative and interpersonal skills, basic experience / knowledge of cross function business / office process management.
