职位描述
Purpose of Role:
Provide timely and quality technical services to LL/LD film customers in the region to achieve & to ensure high level of customer satisfaction.
Identify new application / market, and assist new product evelopment to Increase Company's market share.
Responsibilities
@Translate / implement technical related parts of BU / VT/ TM Department strategies towards China market, by:
Market Development activities:
o Promote new product to customer with technical know-how.
o Develop new customer by introducing promoting SABIC products with technical know-how.
o Provide technical training to customers and sales representatives as the opportunity arise or according to customer training plan.
Product Development / Improvement activities:
o Analyse & consolidate technical market trends & opportunities & feedback to BU / VT/ TM Department.
o Formulate required product portfolio changes to meet current market trends / demands.
o Coordinate and conduct trials and testing to evaluate new and modified products; consolidate feedback and result.
o Support in translating market analyses in T&I projects (product developments, product phase outs, product cost price reductions)
o Report the development of new technologies, products or innovations and its impact on future product trends and technologies.
o Acquire first-hand knowledge on new trends in products, technology and machinery by maintaining close relationship with additives, machine and equipment manufacturer.
Analyse customers or competitors' products and recommends SABIC's equivalent grades that can produce similar quality and performance.
Technical Support / Service / Trouble Shooting activities:
o Responsible to solve technical enquiries & complaints from LL/LD film customers.
o Response & coordinate the trouble shooting activities for LL/LD film technical enquiries / complaints in a timely manner.
o Identify the root cause of the problem & provide final justification to LL/LD film technical complaint.
o Formulate the best possible solution to PP technical enquiries / complaint with coordination from LL/LD business development / sales teams.
Build productive technical customer relationships by:
- Providing optimum customer (technical) services
- Identify and realize value creation opportunities with current / future product portfolio
Requirement
? Bachelor Degree (Chem. Eng., & Polymer Science)
? Academic level ( polymer, mechanical & chemical engineering)
? 5-10 years of Polymer experience in the field of TM, manufacturing, processing or marketing
? Excellent English; any additional language preferred
? BIM ((Basic Industrial Marketing) or AIM(Advanced Industrial Marketing)
? Project Management
? Strong analytical and conceptual powers
? Proven leadership and communication skills
? Broad exposure to international culture; multicultural flexibility and international mindset of building on diversity
? Proven track record of execution and delivery of results
? Good understanding of key business and financial processes
? Balance of short dated technical support issues and long term technical marketing related issues
? International environment with different cultures International, constantly changing and cost driven environment (Asia, KSA, competitors, customers)
? Strategy planning and implementation
? Value creation
? Prioritize tasks and assign team members to ensure that the team's resources are used effectively
