Job Description:

This position must define and execute the quality assurance strategy, system, and operating procedures to ensure PCBA quality at contract manufacturers. Key focus is ensuring product quality and compliance through all product lifecycles.
Manage the systems, metrics, and outputs from quality processes and activities that enable product quality and customer satisfaction through the value chain.
Work with the various engineering teams internally and at Contract Manufacturers during design, NPI, Ramp, and sustaining phases to ensure quality and reliability objectives are established, met, and maintained.
Publish and/or manage quality reports and activities at milestones through product launch and mass production. Including reliability activities during NPI and sustaining phases (IE ORT, OBA, x-section, thermal cycling, etc).
Work with Test, Manufacturing, Product, Layout, and Design Engineering to ensure quality and reliability objectives are planned early in design stages and executed during NPI.
Own, organize, and lead PCBA root cause and formal issue resolution by working with various engineering teams. Formal reporting necessary for internal and external customers.
Interface with Engineering Program Management, Product Management, Quality Assurance, Design Engineering, Layout Engineering, Sales, and Customers on the basis of customer and product needs including schedule.

Job Requirements - Please include a list of essential :

? 10+ years in Board Manufacturing or contract manufacturing environment
? 3 years of Manufacturing or Quality Engineering responsibilities in PCBA manufacturing
? BSEE or BSME or other related degree
? Extensive full life-cycle PCBA manufacturing experience
? Extensive working knowledge of engineering disciplines involved in product development and manufacturing
? PCBA reliability knowledge and implementation experience
? PCB knowledge and working knowledge of fabrication processes
? IC knowledge
? Experience in implementation and management of quality systems in a manufacturing environment
? Direct customer interface experience (PC OEM customer experience a plus)
? Working supply chain knowledge
? Supplier quality management experience
? Experience with quality improvement methodology (SPC, chip/board failure analysis, root cause analysis)
