职位描述

Role Summary:

The Firmware Integration Test Engineer is responsible for testing the implantable firmware against its intended design.

Responsibilities:

The Integration Test Engineer has the following responsibilities:

- Analyzes firmware design

- Documents integration test protocols

- Develops integration tests

- Documents integration test results

- Submits SCRs for issues found in firmware design or test assets

- Verifies SCRs submitted by peers

- Communicates potential issues related to test results to the firmware design engineer

- Ensures root cause is determined for every test failure by performing analysis and communicating with the appropriate system, firmware, and hardware engineers


Required Skills:

- Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Software Engineering

- Minimum of 2 years of industry experience preferably with exposure to regulated/process driven software development/testing

- Experience with communications protocols such as TCP/IP

- Experience in C/C++ programming languages

- Experience in real-time embedded systems

- Experience with hardware/firmware integration

- Experience writing test cases or test scripts for real-time embedded systems

- Experience in debugging test failures

- Ability to learn automated testing tools/methodology

- Ability to learn cardiac domain-specific features

- Attention to details

- Good problem solving skills

- Good oral and written technical communication skills. Proficient in oral and written English

- Able to effectively work in a regulated environment


Desired/Optional Skills:

- Knowledge in cardiac domain

- Knowledge or experience in fault tolerant design

- Knowledge of Python or other scripting languages

- Experience in working with global/geographically distributed teams
