Position Title : IT Systems Engineer
Business or Function: Global Shared Service Team
Location: Zhangjiagang
Reports To (Title & Name): Shared Service Manufacturing and Engineering Leader

Position Purpose:
The IT systems engineer will ensure that the MES components of all automation projects will be implemented on time, with the correct technology and be responsible for the initial configuration and ongoing maintenance aspects as well. This role will be responsible for on-going maintenance and support aspects for all Trinseo Manufacturing MES and Data systems.

Prime Responsibilities:
1.Support all Trinseo MOD5 (legacy DCS system) migration project teams for all aspects of the MES and Batch layers prior to Return to Operations.
2.After RTO this person will be responsible for ongoing support and maintenance directing, training or otherwise leading support efforts for ongoing changes or day to day support.
3.Will be responsible for training plant engineers or admin person(s) ?to ensure consistent operational use of systems.
4.The type of Manufacturing data systems and project aspects to be supported are as follows
a.ABB Batch and Recipe Systems
b.ABB ECS and ERP connections to SAP and data flows
c.MOD Producer, SAP and ERP connections and data flows
d.Production Data management systems (Batch data, Quality data etc.)
e.Alarm and Event data management systems
f.All MES related systems and their use in business work process to enhance speed and quality of decision making
5.Work with Plant engineering as well as R&D to ensure all Recipe Procedures and Recipe Formula data are up to date and maintained well in the Batch systems including training of engineering and plant personnel on the correct use of the Batch application
6.Support and lead all aspects of the Legacy MES systems including Producer and work with the project teams to manage the migration and upgrade to the new ABB based systems.

Qualifications/Knowledge/Skills:
1.Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering or Computer Science/Information Technology is preferred.
2.5 years experience in industry and familiar with DCS system, ABB800xA has a preference. Also encourage fresh young graduate to apply;
3.Willing to take initiative, be accountable for your actions and a good team player.
4.Fluency in English is required.
