Accounting Supervisor 应付会计主管

Synopsis:

Along with EF fast growth in the China market, we are looking for a talent to join us as the Accounting Supervisor in Shanghai finance team and to be based in Shanghai, China.

The Role:

The accounting supervisor's role is to lead and manage a shared-service accounts payable team providing good shared AP service to all of EF products in Shanghai which are including but not limited in implementation of EF policies and procedures, improvement of AP job quality and making sure each payment cycle to be run smoothly and payments to be processed timely and accurately.

Responsibilities:

1. Sort out the AP team tasks list and properly assign tasks to each AP accountant.

2. Design the efficient AP team work flow and respective responsibilities for each AP position.

3. Double check and verify payment requests and system booking and identify AP booking errors and follow up the actions item to be closed in a timely manner.

4. Vendor create/maintenance control

5. Urgent payment control

6. Monitor and reconcile each AP cycle to ensure that the payment deadline is met and get the correct statistic information for each AP cycle.

7. Prepare monthly AP aging report to make sure sub-ledger AP balance is reconciled with GL AP balance and follow up overdue items.

8. Support monthly closing and do some reclassification accordingly if needed.

9. Supervise AP accountant’s daily job and hold necessary training to them.

10. Well communicates with various products and departments.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor degree or above and majored in Accounting or Economics

2. Well organized, Mature, diligent and highly responsible

3. More than 5 years' related working experience in AP and at least 2 years in staff management. Specialized in finance shared service is plus.

4. Good knowledge of Chinese Accounting Regulation

5. Good communicator and team player and can work independently

6. Familiar with MS office and other business systems

7. Fluency in written and spoken English

8. Must be willing to be actively engaged at all levels of the function with a "hands on" approach
