Description
A growing Fashion and Accessories company specializing in hosiery is seeking an experienced Fashion Designer. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in producing concepts, developing patterns and experience in overseeing production and basic marketing knowledge.

Job Responsibilities:
1. Provide new ideas and inspirations to hosiery and leg wear products.
2. Understand the taste of customer’s brands and be able to issue different designs at different level, from mass market to designer brands.
3. Research new design concepts from fashion shows, trade shows, the Internet, magazines, fashion practitioners, the street, etc. Keep updated on the latest fashion trends in the market at all times and know what hot items are in for each upcoming season.
4. Use design tools to create fashion design artwork and prototype samples.
5. Recommend materials to customers on the basis of cost effectiveness and quality.
6. Work with the merchandising team to present original product ideas to customers.
7. Explain and lead the whole design workflow and identify parties involved at different stages until a successful prototype is made.
8. Estimate the time required for the different stages in the design workflow and have samples efficiently made within the time schedule.
9. Assist in developing department strategic planning, brand building and promotion plan, and goals in each stage of decomposition.
10. Actively participate in exhibition and fairs to promote sales and understanding customer needs.
11. Complete any ad-hoc jobs assigned by the manager.

Requirements:
1. University Degree or above. Preferably in Fashion Design.
2. 2-3 years design experience in the hosiery and leg wear field.
3. In-depth knowledge of design techniques including fabrication, silhouettes, color ways, construction and finishing techniques.
4. Able to develop marketable collections to suite customers’ need.
5. Has knowledge on garment production process, e.g. fabrics, pattern making, machinery (circular machines, knitting machines, etc.).
6. Evaluate feasibility and anticipate effect of prints and graphics on different fabric with different manufacturing methods.
7. Good sense of color combinations for products.
8. Sensitive to fashion marketing trend.
9. Brand development experiences an advantage.
10. Good presentation skills.
11. Bilingual in Mandarin and English. 举报 分享
