Job Responsibilities:
Design, develop and implement the analytical solutions (models, rules, strategies) to detect suspicious activities in PayPal system.

Key Day-to-Day Responsibilities includes:

• Conduct sophisticated quantitative analysis and derive business and risk insights for building Intelligence on Claim Processing
• Translate key insights into code and/or process for scalability
• Customize global tool and techonology with APAC peculiarities
• Build and implement solution to support APAC business needs

Job Requirements

• B.S/M.S degree in Analytical or Engineering fields.
• Minimum of 4 years' work experience in a relevant field (2+ with Master degree)
• Strong software programming skills to manipulate large volumes of complex data
• Possess intellectual curiosity and be able to handle ambiguity
• Good communication skills. Fluency in English, both written and oral.
• Self motivated, learn fast, agile, be eager to stretch and grow
• Work effectively independently or as a team
• Take initiative and be willing to challenge the status quo
• Knowledge of Risk Management, e-Commerce, Payment, Text-Mining , Mobile or Asian Language (other than Chinese) is a strong plus
