DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES:

Job Description

Responsible for one or more projects on a global basis that are
interrelated from the perspective of customer, technology and or
product platform and provide guidance, direction and support to the
Project managers assigned to these projects. To ensure, through
governance, that there is strong collaboration between the different
functional areas involved in the project(s) ensuring effective planning
and execution of project activities.



Here is a glimpse of what you will do...

* Manage customer relationship on a Global basis and will act as the
key escalation point globally for all product programs, projects and
operational performance issues.

* Facilitate collaborative communication between all functional areas
within a location / business group/vertically integrated organization.

* Facilitate external two way communication between Customer and Flex
Sites.

* Manage the process to ensure Customers expectations are clearly
defined, understood and communicated across the appropriate Flex
Organizations

* Work with Design and Operations globally to ensure the appropriate
Project Managers and project resources are assigned to all customer
projects

* Accountable for the performance of the FPLC project team(s) and
Project manager(s) and ensure all project managers, program managers
and project teams adhere to the Flex Product Life Cycle Process (FPLC)
process no matter where the projects are initiated from.

* Attend phase gate reviews where applicable (i.e. FPLC and Customer)
and monitor and review project performance with the principle Project
manager and Operations Program Manager ensuring timely resolution of
any issues that may arise.

* Provide the necessary leadership and support to Project Managers
(design, NPI, lead etc.) to manage projects in line with project
management processes and associated policies and procedures.

* Ensure collaborative cross-functional project team participation to
effectively initiate, plan, execute, monitor and control all phases of
a project or subproject to ensure work efforts are executed on time,
within budget, and according to stated requirements reliably and
repeatedly.



Here is some of what you will need...

* Bachelor Degree in Engineering or related field or equivalent (5
years) work experience. A Master's degree is preferred

* Minimum of 4 to 8 years or more of automotive experience in
materials, sales, marketing, engineering, manufacturing and/or program
administration or other related experience

* Minimum of 5 to 10 years or more of automotive experience in program
administration/management or related experience

* Experience with Automotive OEM development processes needed

* Experience with Electronics product lines and manufacturing

* Must have excellent communication (verbal & written),
presentation, interpersonal, and customer service skills with the
ability to work effectively under pressure

* Must understand program financials and technical engineering
terminology

* Proficient with MS-Office (Word, Excel, Project & PowerPoint)
needed

* Must be willing to travel up to 20% locally, along with some
international travel

* PMP certification is a plus
