Job Responsibilities:
1. Identifies and pursues prospects through various lead generated activities, including tradeshow, direct mailing, advertising, cold-calling, on key industry players and referral program.
2. Meets with prospects to understand their purchase decision makers, decision making process criteria, and their needs.
3. Develops sales presentations for potential new clients. Leads the sales presentations in support of growing the clientele for UL Prospector services.
4. Responsible for meeting with and presenting to the highest profile/potential clients.
5. Provides value propositions, handles objections, prepares quotes, and closes sales by getting prospects’ commitments.
6. Retains existing customers that are not managed by account management teams.
7. Identifies and resolves a wide range of issues with little or no supervision.
8. Performs other duties as directed.
9. Significant business travel and work outside of the office required
Education, Experience and Qualifications:
* University Degree (Equivalent to Bachelor’s degree) in a related discipline plus 2+ years of relevant sales experience.
* Chinese at native level, Fluent in English.
* Familiarity with UL Prospector focus industries is a big plus (Plastics, Food,Personal Care, Coatings,). Media sales experience is a big plus.
*Should be technologically savvy – experienced working with web-based systems
* Must possess excellent verbal presentation capability, communication skills, negotiation skill and interpersonal skills, both in person and over the phone.
* Demonstrated success with acquiring new business, including but not limited to identifying prospects, sales presentations, researching and analyzing sales options, quota attainment, short term, midterm, and long-term opportunity management and closing deals.
* Ability to work effectively with peers across cultures and geography.
* Good planning, organizing and prioritization skills are required, in addition to an ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
* Should be able to demonstrate an ability to be successful with limited direction. A self-starter that can follow through on responsibilities and is comfortable working in an entrepreneurial, high-growth environment.
* Successful candidates will be able to demonstrate a high level of energy, enthusiasm, strong work ethic, and proven record of advancement.
