Experienced project manager required to manage large projects within the Pharmaceutical, Alternative Energy, Infrastructure, Chemicals, Power and Oil & Gas Industries. This is an exciting opportunity for career development within an engineering consultancy firm expanding into new technology.

Duties to include:

• Managing the project from concept to completion, including feasibility studies, basic and concept design, detailed design, value engineering, and field engineering.
• Planning, scheduling, controls, reporting, trends analysis and trouble shooting
• Contract Management, to include contract and sub-contract agreements, event management and risk management.
• Over seeing quality control function on the project to include implementation and preparation of quality plans, procedures, inspection, test plans, handover documentation and validation services.
• Safety management to include implementing procedures and plans, monitoring control and reporting.
• Cost management to include budgeting, cash flow management, preparation and monitoring of budgets, billing and administration.
• Providing direction and leadership to the project team

General Requirements

• The ideal candidate will have a formal qualification in Engineering with a minimum of 10-15 years experience working on large scale pharmaceutical projects. Experience of delivering large engineering projects to time and budget, with a proven track record, is also required.
• At least 10 years relevant work experience in design engineering, chemical, petro-chemical, nuclear or heavy industry sections.
• Engineering degree qualification.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Experience of working with a foreign company or on a foreign investment project.
