Overall Job Responsibility

• Lead the Control Dept., project planners and division managers to develop detailed and integrated work plans and schedules for all performing departments for each product line.

• Hold planning and scheduling coordination meetings as required supporting planning and scheduling monitoring functions.

• Collect and report schedule progress, evaluate schedule variances, develop work around plans, and coordinate resolution of schedule variances.

• Ensure that project master schedule requirements are consistent with the specific relationships and priorities ofthe functional areas.

• Check and review schedule reports as required supporting project and functional management reporting needs.

• Provide schedule interface with external consulting firms or individuals.

• Recommend contract schedule milestones for Request for Proposals (RFP's).

• Plan and analyze resource requirements with functional management for all scheduled efforts.

• Ensure effective application of appropriate policies and procedures, including WDI planning procedures and reporting requirements.
  

Creative, A&FE, Design, Show/Ride, Production Specialists
(May provide some or all of the following)

• Develop sub-assembly/task CPM logic networks for critical path division activities.

• Status non-critical work with division tracking reports, drawing and materials lists.

• Prepare and status earned value progress curves for disciplines.

• Use earned value progress assessment to monitor facility design/production progress and forecast design reviews and completion dates in the master schedule.

• Develop and status show/facility input matrix.

TECHNICAL SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS:

· 10-15 Years prior experience as a Senior System Planner/Planner Lead.
· 10 Years of design/engineering/production planning and scheduling.
· Minimum 5 years hands-on Primavera experience required.
· Should be able to develop preliminary plans and schedules from show or facility design drawings for management schedule review.
· Knowledge of company planning and scheduling procedures, planning techniques, and Creative, architectural/engineering disciplines or show design and production disciplines and their design and/or production processes.
· Must be an organized self-starter with good communication and interpersonal skills.
· Good understanding of project controls applications.
· Possess strong relationship skills and the ability to work successfully with all members of the team.
· Good understanding of Critical Path Methods Network (CPM) logic scheduling fundamentals
· Good understanding of each phase of the project life cycle.
