Job Summary

The IT Specialist's primary responsibility is to deliver consulting services for Microsoft Dynamics AX users. The focus will be the Dynamics AX manufacture module(s). As part of our Professional Services team, you would be involved in a large number of projects spanning both the existing users' base and new business.

Job description

-Full life-cycle project activities, from Analysis, Design, Implementation to Go-Live.

-Test functionality developed by the development team against business requirements

-Support and drive change process and communication

-Coordinate and contribute to end-user training, including creation of user documentation and training materials

-Prepare functional specifications for customizations required during a Dynamics AX implementation

-Responsible for the successful configuration, processing and implementation of functional area software modules.

-Liaison between user community and project team; Act as a mentor and liaison to other users of that functional area.

-Design and configuration of software parameters for each module.

-Prepare documents and training modules in preparations of an ongoing support role.

-Responsible for coordinating the preparation, communication and execution of all test cases and testing schedules

Requirement

-B.S or above, majored in information Technology or relevant

-Knowledge of discrete manufacturing best practices, principles and procedures as related to mid-to-large scale business processes

-Demonstrable knowledge of applying several of the following AX functional areas to business processes:Manufacture Ability to understand, communicate, and interpret client business processes and requirements

-Ability to thrive in a collaborative atmosphere

-Excellent organizational skills with the ability to balance multiple demands

-Proven ability to write effective system and process documentation - including business and system requirements, process diagrams, and data flow charts

-In-depth knowledge of ERP systems as they relate to effective and efficient business processes

-Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of an organization

-Ability to establish priorities, work independently and proceed with objectives with little supervision

-Resolve conflict

-Experience with modules within Dynamics AX desired

-3+ full life-cycle implementation projects,3+ years of experience as a business consultant
