Director of Business Development
As HRS DoBD, will be responsible for creating and delivering strategic partnership for HRS branding and increase traveler's database, affiliate product range or designated market in Regional China (Eastern China, Northern China, and Southern China).
Acting as a fundamental role in developing future growth, and provide vision, direction and leadership. Specific duties are likely to include:
Constantly exploring potential strategically and affiliate leads to ensure growth of market share
Develop strategic partner based on company's offerings
Coordination of the development of technical solutions for strategic partners
Increase brand awareness in B2B2C in Great China
Constant monitoring of projects progress of top new accounts
Conception, planning and implementation of online marketing and sales measures to affiliate teams
Analysis competitor Information and market trend
Create, develop and implement the delivery of HRS strategic marketing to meet the needs of the overall business plan
Develop and manage creative joint marketing initiatives with partners
Work closely with the DoCS to ensure sales opportunities are maximized cross selling
Formulate and plan the Departments annual budget
Represent company at congress, conference and trade fairs to gain more business leads and opportunities
Travel Office-based (Shanghai or Beijing), but also spend much of time visiting partners, other China branches of HRS and BD team in the field. Attend conferences, trade fairs and exhibitions. Also involve travel in both the China and abroad.
Skills and Interests
Strategic and commercial attitude towards Sales & Marketing
Computer literate and numerate
Professional appearance and the social skills necessary to deal with a range of clients along with the self-confidence and stature to represent HRS at a senior level
Creative, lateral thinker and energetic team player with a high level of enthusiasm
Familiarity with API integration processes.
Ability to priorities and work under pressure with good time management
Staff management skills and the ability to motivate and develop individuals and BD team working
Ability to develop policies and strategies for the Department and to manage,
Willingness to work flexibly and in particular be available for client contact and entertainment of business prospects which will require some evening and weekend
