Responsibilities:

Responsible for HVAC components, system integration, development and validation
Technical applications of HVAC module, air ducts, A/C loop, condenser and compressor
Problem solving and solution implementation
Project and department strict adherence to GVDP timing
HVAC system development and validation to meet program milestones & deliverables
Responsible for Bill of Material (BOM) common part implementation
Support GPSC to select, evaluate and develop local low cost suppliers

Qualifications:
Bachelor degree or above.
Above 5 years working experience with HVAC architecture components, i.e. evaporator, heater, HVAC case, actuators, blower motor, etc. (with climate control calibration experience preferred)
Electrical, Interior & powertrain electrical interface experience
Familiarity with HVAC system design & development process.
Make sense of HVAC simulation model (CAE), bench test, climate wind tunnel calibration and road calibration experience
Understanding of HVAC test labs and correlation between component and vehicle data
Proven ability to work with suppliers and purchasing to deliver product on time meeting global and local price targets
Cost and Warranty reduction experience; proven ability for root causing problems

Experience:
Have a solid technical knowledge in HVAC principles and global GMW testing procedures
Have a good understanding in virtual engineering with CAE tools
Extremely familiar with HVAC system development & validation procedures aligned with GVDP
Familiar with AVD process and developing criteria, and packaging requirements for program feasibility studies
