The Social Media Manager will be responsible for managing our social media platforms and campaigns in the APAC region (excluding India and Japan) reporting into Senior Manager, Social and Digital Marketing APAC. He/She will manage our everyday social media content, and provide community management on platforms such as (but not limited to) Facebook, Instagram and Twitter and drive product awareness, engagement and lead acquisitions, while enhancing our Western Digital brand.

The position requires a clear and confident communicator with deep social media experience, and a demonstrated data-driven focus in maximizing content reach and optimizing paid social media performance.

Responsibilities

? Create, manage, and monitor our social media content for the region, ensuring integration/alignment with cross-functional teams (Channel Marketing, Sales and PR).
? Align and collaborate with the HQ/Global social media team for regional strategy and content needs
? Monitor and provide community management across our APAC social media platforms.
? Cultivate social media engagements and conversations across the platforms.
? Leverage the platforms to enhance our consumers’ experience with our brands, drive awareness, education and sales/conversion for our products, and to promote brand advocacy.
? Identify trends and implement best practices for social media, including community management, analytics, paid social media/search advertising and organic content amplification.
? Develop internal communications and sharing of digital assets, best practices and case studies across the region and globally.
? Communicate effectively with regional social media agencies, vendors and cross-functional teams.
? Execute, monitor, optimize, analyse and report on campaigns, social media content and paid media performance.
? Demonstrate a ROI driven aptitude for optimizing the social ecosystem across paid, earned, shared and owned media, and continuously suggest optimizations to improve performance.

Requirements

? BS/BA degree from an accredited college or university and 6-8 years’ experience in advertising, communications or marketing; 3-5 years managing social media programs in APAC region
? Excellent copywriting and communication skills in English and one Asian language
? Demonstrated track record of social media performance in APAC markets
? Passionate about driving social media engagement
? Experience with Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, Google Analytics, Google Adwords, Hootsuite, Percolate and Adobe AEM will be a plus
? Good understanding of social listening and other analytics tools
? Customer-oriented, resourceful and creative
? Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
? Ability to distinguish and behave with a good sense of decorum; acting as Western Digital’s brand ambassador in the social media space. 举报 分享
