Objective:
Support operation of the China Payment Factory and back up regional team to support Regional payment factory
Accountabilities: 1. Execute daily Central Payment Factory activities 2. Assist businesses and other Treasury Hubs on Payment Factory activities and issues 3. Support businesses on the operation of the payment factory 4. Assist roll out the Payment Factory solution to local businesses 5. Assist the coordination of the documentation flow in setting up new Payment Factory participants 6. Assist and coordinate the preparation of cash flow forecasting
Objective:
Support Treasury Function and businesses with banking activities
Accountabilities: 1. Assist businesses on different international banking payment methods and routing instructions. 2. Monitor China cash pool status to ensure China cash pool run smoothly. 3. Help to set up the BAD pool and Foreign currency cash pool in China. 4. Support businesses with accessing and using Treasury systems 5. Monitor compliance of executed treasury transactions in line with company policies 6. Document and escalate identified non-compliance with Treasury policies 7. Treasury contact for addressing business issues on payments and banking 8. Maintain and update static data in the Treasury Management System (TMS) 9. Help the global treasury operations team to build and execute a 24 hour support model 10. Maintain helpdesk to answer unit queries in line with service level agreement 11. Participate in monthly global treasury operations team meetings
Key Figures ? Turnover in China is EUR 1bn generated from some 30+ legal entities ? Approximately 40% of revenue is from JV companies
Functional responsibilities/Network
? Appointed corporate banks ? Corporate Treasury Operatiaons team, Regional and China treasury team, ? Corporate accounting, legal, tax and IT departments within AkzoNobel ? AkzoNobel Business Units ? External and internal auditors Requirements:
Skills and experience: ? an university graduate, with at least 2 years of treasury back office experience, preferably mixed over corporate companies and banks. ? Understanding of banking in China. Experienced and proficient in the use of different payments types / routing instructions. ? Operations Process knowledge. Experience in automating and standardizing Treasury controls and procedures. ? Hands on knowledge with electronic banking platforms. Able to implement and maintain best practice with current and new Treasury systems. ? Proficient in working with TMS, Excel and other IT related productivity tools ? Knowledge and application of accounting relevant to the operations area. ? Good communicator, both orally and in writing. ? Fluent in the use of both oral and written English. ? Occasional travel in China.

Treasury function manages the financial risks of the global group, Asia Pacific Regional Treasury hub, being an extension of the central Treasury function, plans to expand its regional cash management and in-house payment processes, with a regional payment factory to be integrated to handle daily multi-currency cash flows with banks and businesses in Asia Pacific.
This job plays a support role guided by central Treasury.
