In the H&M Production organization we transform design ideas into actual products. We ensure that we produce safe products for our customers and remain in the forefront of sustainability.

As a Senior Technician, your main focus will be to ensure all samples are developed based on H&M quality requirement

What will you do?

In this role, you will be kept busy and engaged through a wide range of tasks. Primarily you will need to:

? Maintain a general overview of the technicians’ work performance and their possible need for education
? Make sure that the whole team is working with the same tools and methods
? Supervise communication with the Buying Office, Global Purchasing Organization (GPO) and suppliers
? Support technicians to be proactive and to search for & create new ideas to solve problems and share them with the rest of the group
? Check and follow up the workload of the technicians
? Evaluate individual staff performance and work actively with feedback given and dialogue

Who will you work with?

In this role you will join a dynamic and energetic team based in Guangzhou. You will report to the Product Quality Manager and interact regularly with Sourcing, Business & Quality teams, our external suppliers as well as your colleagues based both locally and across the Globe.

? You have at least 3 years of experience in a relevant role within a manufacturing environment. If you’ve worked in an underwear (or swimwear, socks & tights products etc) related manufacturing factory or buying office, it would be even better.
? You have team management experience and show strong competence in leading people.
? You are comfortable expressing yourself in English and Chinese as this is our business language
