Automotive

The Automotive Division designs, develops and produces innovative semiconductor solutions for the car's powertrain, safety management as well as body and convenience.

General Purpose/Objectives:

• To implement and drive ATV APAC design house strategy
• Establish and expand design house network
• Design, maintain and improve ecosystem online, offline activities and promotions
• Establish and maintain new social media platforms
• Continue to efficient and effectively expand ecosystem scope and effects within the industry
• Responsible for all activities related to technical translation
• People Development - Responsible for personnel development within SBP team
• Support ATV university program activities

Major Tasks and Activities:

• Strategy: Define and achieve design house program goals derived from ATV APAC goals, including revenue, business win, design house program size; Promote positive Infineon and ATV brand image and broaden the exposure within the industry and outside
• Fully represent Infineon in front of all design houses and all ecosystem partners
• Business management - Design house management
• Manage design house relationship at various levels, especially key design houses
• Identify key design houses for core competencies, key projects
• Communicate any business opportunities to appropriate functional team (i.e. Marketing, Disti Sales, OBD, SAE, etc.)) to further development
• Constantly brainstorm and explore innovative approaches to expand ecosystem size and scope, broaden the partner network size and effect
• Work closely with various functions to execute new approaches to support PDH network expansion - work closely with IT for new architecture for ecosystem online and social media; work closely with Marcom for external activities (IADC, etc.)
• Execute technical translation priority set by Regional Marketing and Country Head
• Build up technical translation database and improve translation quality and efficiency
• People management: Overall management of SBP team to ensure optimum performance through the achievement of individual and team goals/targets. Drive the man power, competencies, resources and infrastructure that are required
• Drive ATV university program in close coordination with UP team, maintain relationship and communication with key universities, constantly seek appropriate opportunities
• Regular knowledge sharing and support SBP related topics across SMD

You are best equipped for this task if you have:

• Approximately more than 10 years in marketing and/or engineering know-how in electronics area; with basic knowledge of semiconductor technologies and in related areas
• Strong drive for innovation
• Basic project management skills automotive experience preferred
• Good team work spirit, close cooperation with Marketing, Application Engineering, Sales team as well as other central functions, including IT, Marcom, and etc.
• Excellent analytical skills in pulling together relevant information to forecast technical and market developments in complex markets and derivation of advice
• Self-study, benchmark competitors and/or industry leaders, research through internal organization for direction and execution
