HBM Hong Kong is part of a China based buying organization for one of Europe's largest specialist importer of stationery and promotional products. Our customer base includes many of Europe's leading industry brands, wholesalers and retailers.
We are currently seeking a Senior QC Professional ideally specializing in the stationery products industry to join our company. The position would be based in the Pearl River Delta and the successful candidate would be working out of his home.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Attend pre-production meetings with merchandiser, QA manager and representative from vendor usually for newly produced items at vendor's production site.
· Perform the incoming, inline and final inspection according to buyer's and customers' AQL standards.
· Ability to work well with supplier in identifying quality problems during the manufacturing process and to assisting in proposing solutions, bearing in mind the needs of the customer and own experience with relevant products.
· Review defect sample with suppliers during inspection, report to supervisor on the inspection situation and submit the inspection report in English to the QC manager, merchandiser and other related persons on time.
· Providing quality advice and forecasting the production problem to supplier.
· Perform a professional factory audit.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
· MUST have a minimum of 3 years QC experience, ideally in the stationery industry, preferably with a company whose main market is in Europe.
· Know international AQL standard very well.
· Excellent communication skills in Mandarin, Cantonese and English, both oral and written.​
· Work well with factory people and closely with your own colleagues.
· Being responsible and loyal to the company.
· Frequent traveling in South of China (mainly in Guangdong province)
· Be able to work at weekends or during public holiday if it is required.
· Bachelor's degree required
· Resume MUST be submitted in English.​
