Job Title: ESL teacher for secondary level local students
Starting: Feb 2017
Location: Line 2 Song Hong Rd

Requirements:
1. Native English speaker required
2. Bachelor or above degree in teaching area is required. TEFL, ESL, TESOL at least 120 hours training also required. Bachelor degree is desirable.
3. Minimum 2 years teaching experience in given teaching area. Experience in Teaching English as a Second Language is desirable.
4. Demonstrate a high degree of professionalism and commitment to the teaching profession.
5. Demonstrate outstanding interpersonal communication skills and cultural sensitivity.
6. Is flexible, reliable and responsive to the needs of the organization.
7. Is enthusiastic and willing to work as part of a growing team and program.
8. Willing to commit to at least a full academic year.

Essential Requirements
？ Available Monday to Friday from 8:00 am until 4:30 pm.
？ Maximum 20 teaching hours per week (40 mins per class)
？ Working within a culturally diverse, bilingual teaching environment.
？ Develop, plan and assess highly engaging lessons according to school framework

Job Description
Planning and Preparation
？ Develop and implement highly engaging lessons based upon extensive content knowledge and understanding of student
？ Develop and implement units of work based on school curriculum and IB MYP curriculum framework
？ Complete all aspects of planning and preparation including lesson objectives, learning activities, materials, resources and unit assessments – in line with IB MYP education philosophies
？ Ensure appropriate planning for ELL learners

？ The teacher creates a physical environment which is conducive to high level learning.
？ The teacher creates a safe and supportive learning environment and encourages all students to succeed.

？ Conditions of employment/ Compensation:
？ - 1 year contract.
？ - The monthly salary starts at 15000 RMB per month.
？ - Accommodation allowances 3,000 RMB.
？ - 4 week paid leave for 1 year contract.

Shanghai Brisbane Education Training Centre
Tengda IEBMT (Australia) founded the Shanghai Brisbane Education Training Centre (SBETC) in 2002 for the delivery of language training, primary and secondary teacher training programs and industry training programs.
SBETC has also developed ongoing international educational and cultural exchange programs with various overseas schools and other international educational institutions around the world. Supported by both the Chinese and Australian governments, SBETC has trained over 5000 teachers in China and Australia, for the purpose of English language training as well as specific teacher-training programs.
