Responsibility:
· Primary mission will be to complete a diverse set of tasks including regulatory approvals, factory design, construction, equipment installation and commissioning within budget, schedule, quality and EHS requirements.
· Internally work closely with PMO manager and JV operations team and will externally work closely with design firm, soil investigation company, supplier for energy saving solutions, supervision company, general contractor, outside consultants, etc.
· Ensure the Eaton-SAMC JV policies and procedures are established in full compliance to the signed JV contract, Articles of Association, business commitment and business cooperation agreements.
· Manage the relationship and effective liaison among Conveyance System Division, APAC functional support, JV management team, JV partner and outside contractors.
· Establish high level project plan and provides frequent project updates of current situation relating to established milestones identifying problem/high risk areas (e.g., technical, cost, and schedule).
· Monitor overall performance during all phases of the JV launch and develop and implement corrective action and recovery plans as required.
· Maintain and report key metrics for senior management including program milestone OTD and PRO Launch status as applicable.
· Provide input and direction driving the completion of the required application documents, feasibility report, environmental impact assessment and regulatory/government approvals.
· Provide input and direction driving the completion of the land acquisition process.
· Provide input and direction driving the factory construction and factory commissioning process.
· Coordinate with team(s) in a matrix environment and work with both internal and external team(s) in identifying, quantifying and mitigating risk.
· Responsible for the overall execution of complex tasks in accordance with the Eaton Aerospace PRO Launch processes as applicable.
Requirement:
· BS / BA required
· 5-10 years experiences in plant construction/facility management
· Practical understanding of accounting and finance terms, principles and how to apply them.
· Good knowledge of contracts
· Super Negotiation Skills
· Knowledge of Microsoft Office Software especially Microsoft Project
· Leadership, teaming and problem solving skills
· Communication skills- both verbal and written with ability to make necessary status reports
· Experience in international operations and multicultural environments will also be beneficial to his/her success
· Ability to work effectively in ambiguous situations
· Customer Centricity
· Limited travel required.
