Job description
* Collect and interpret information on customer’s present and future needs and format this information into “Master Specifications” for new product development.
* Make professional market, application and competitor analysis.
* Work with product development teams from initial feasibility through full market introduction within the set time frame/cost price and according to Atlas Copco quality standards.
* Working with the communication team Develop suitable product marketing material to enable the product line to be successful
* Support the regional Customer Centers of all relevant brands by providing training, and related materials in order to improve product knowledge, application knowledge, sales arguments and competitor information.
* Develop and implement product pricing strategies
* Monitor the development and organic growth of the product range and initiate actions for improvement.
* Interact with the Product Managers QAS in Wilrijk, Belgium for alignment with global strategy
* Develop for Shengda a product development roadmap in line with the agreed divisional strategy.


Mission
We require a Product Manager to take responsibility for the development, support and marketing of the Quality Air products designed and manufactured in the Shengda plant. The company is looking for an experienced, energetic and dynamic individual.


Job requirements
- University degree - technically or commercially oriented or similar through experience.
- Solid understanding and/or appreciation of the sales and service process of air treatment products
- Proven track record in product marketing or as a product specialist.
- A strong technical background combined with a sound knowledge of air treatment products, applications and markets.
- Good command (verbal and written) of English and Chinese.
- Solid understanding of Lotus Notes and MS Office.
- Pro-active with good interpersonal skills, strong in communication and people oriented.
- Customer oriented
- Result driven
- Willing to travel internationally
