JOB DESCRIPTION – BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER
Stationed in Hangzhou
The Business Development Manager is responsible for growing the business of the Flagship Tea House and Shangri La store. His/her role is to enable the achievement of the daily, monthly and yearly sales goals by creating and executing business development, sales, event and communication strategies.
1. Communication
Ensure our venue is becoming a top of mind destination with the tourists and local customers through building exciting visibility with KOLs, magazines, websites, apps and at the Concierge of 5 star hotels, etc
2. B to B Business Development
Build the corporate venue rental business, renting out the Temple-House Flagship store for banks and credit cards’ VIP clubs, galleries, or various clients through event production companies and PR agencies
3. Recruit an audience of influencers, VIPs and target customers to attend the Lu Ming Tang lifestyle classes and workshops
- Recruit a well-targeted audience of potential customers for a dynamic calendar of weekly lifestyle activities, events, classes and workshops as developed by the headquarters. These activities are lifestyle learning events through which Lu Ming Tang products are introduced and sold to the audience.
- Recruit 10 to 20 women per activity, inviting through partnerships with women’s associations, corporations, banks, lifestyle brands etc
PROFILE
- Proven track record in driving business development and increasing sales
- Prior business development / sales experience in a wedding agency or in the event, hotel, entertainment industry
- Minimum 5 years working experience
- Hangzhou local or at least 3 years living in Hangzhou
- Strong communication, negotiation and presentation skills
- Enjoy meeting and interacting with people; demonstrates an energetic and positive attitude
- A driven entrepreneurial mindset to take charge and make things happen
- Good planning and organizational skills. Ability to anticipate problems and think ahead.
- Proficient with English
