Position: Import / Export Specialist

Responsibilities
The Import / Export Specialist will be responsible for developing a comprehensive and cost-effective import/export model for our newly created manufacturing facility. This role requires a well-developed ability to analyze complex business processes, with a focus on cost-benefit, to make difficult decisions and recommendations. Discussion, analysis, and explaination of complex processes and concepts with senior management, both in China and in the US, is key to success in this role. The person in this role must be creative, flexible, have a positive attitude, and be willing and able to make difficult decisions and recommendations.

The job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

? Analysis of worldwide traffic and import/export rules, including rules of taxation and duties, and developing processes, policies, and recommendations for implementation.

? Coordination of import/export and material flow between US and PRC factories, and import/export and domestic material flows with suppliers and customers

? Selection and management of appropriate partners for handing logistics, and import/export processing, as required

? Cost management and reporting for all costs associated with material import/export and logistics, including net VAT and duty impact, and logistics costs

Qualifications:
任职要求：
? A bachelor’s degree or graduate-level college degree is required
本科以上学历
? Extensive experience (5 or more years) in import / export analysis and management, is required. Some experience with planning, logistics, and traffic is also essential.

? A basic understanding of financial cost-benefit analysis, and experience with inter-company transfers and transfer pricing with WOFE is strongly desired

? Excellent skills with general computer use and office applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and Powerpoint, are required
